Learn about the many resources available to you at Madison Public Library!  Last September’s class was truly appreciated by those who attended so we’ve decided to repeat it.  Choose the session that fits your schedule best.

LEARN HOW TO

Efficiently use LINKCAT, the public libraries’ catalog for all of South Central Library System

Borrow e-books, e-audio books, and more from Wisconsin’s Digital Library.

Use Madison Public’s Research and Discovery online resources such as:

  • Consumer Reports,
  • Lexis Nexis Library Express,
  • Newspaper Archive,
  • Novelist,
  • and more

We’ll be meeting in the Central Madison Public Library’s Media Lab and each person will be seated at a computer to learn how to do what is being demonstrated.  You may bring your own laptop or tablet if you prefer to ensure that what you’re learning works on your device.  If you don’t already have a Madison Public Library card it is recommended (but  not essential) that you get one before class.

If you have questions please call Carla DiIorio at 608-257-9164 or email  at Carlad@tds.net..
