Register now for the PLATO trip to the "Birds in Art" Exhibit at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum in Wausau on October 3. This is the 43rd year for this internationally renowned juried exhibit. 114 artists, including 31 international artists and 8 Wisconsin artists, will present artworks. Innovative artistic approaches and intriguing mediums - from acrylic and oxidized sterling silver leaf to cut turkey feathers and oil and cold wax on linen - capture the character, spirit and habitats of birds. All-new artwork features varied interpretations of avian wonders via original paintings, sculptures, and graphics.
