Participants will spend 1 hour per session learning to pronounce and speak French well enough to interact with natives and not to embarrass themselves in France or other French-speaking countries. The 2nd hour each session will deal with culture; topics will include politics, literature, music, geography, cooking, art, social life, etc. After 10 sessions, participants will have mastered the rudiments of language and culture well enough to travel to a French-speaking country and be at ease. Presented by Lewis Bosworth with guests from the Madison French-speaking community.
