We will continue with Dr. Stoler’s lectures, (he holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of Wisconsin and is Professor Emeritus of History at the University of Vermont). The series is called The Skeptic's Guide to American History. Each class session focuses on one lecture. We spend the remaining time discussing that issue and its application for today. Example: One lesson was “Question of Populism”. Members get suggestions, not assignments, on the next week's topics so they can come prepared to discuss it. We offer a comfortable and inviting space on the east side and welcome newcomers.
