This course will be centered on the life and poetry of Robert Frost. The materials for the course will be available to those enrolling at the first class session. This will include both a chronology of Frost’s life and a selection of his poems. Class time will spent on a combination of lecture and discussion. The class process is based on the conviction that each reader of a poem is free to seek and to share both reaction to the poem and his or her own understanding of Frost’s intended meaning.
