This course continues to explore how racial injustice and inequality affects us and how we can effect change. It will focus on the school to prison “pipeline” in two parts: Karen Reece, Ph.D., Nehemiah Corporation, will present on Wisconsin’s criminal justice system. Jennifer Cheatham, Ph.D., Superintendent, MMSD and other school district staff will present on racial disparities in the school system and the steps being taken to produce change. New course members encouraged.
