We continue our four-part course concentrating this term on the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts as viewed by scholars mainly in the tradition of the Higher Criticism. We watch DVD lectures on these topics by professors Bart Ehrman, Glenn Holland, and Amy-Jill Levine. We also read excerpts from the writings of a variety of Bible experts and historians. These authors include our lecturers as well as Reza Aslan, Joseph Lynch, Hand K√ľng, John Spong, Frederick Murphy, Dennis Duling, Uta-Ranke Heinemann, and many others. Join us for open-minded, tolerant, and stimulating discussion.
