This class is the 2nd session of a PLATO class which has been very popular now for 10 years. Each semester we read aloud and discuss 3 or 4 plays using an integrated approach which allows everyone to participate. A brief background of each play and playwright is presented by a volunteer from the group. There should not be any cost for materials this first semester as we will be using scripts previously obtained for an earlier version of this same class. We will be doing The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde, Rocket to the Moon by Clifford Odets, and The Piano Lesson by August Wilson (and possibly a 4th play to be selected by the class).
To enroll, please contact the Coordinator before the first class meeting.
