Find out more about what PLATO can offer you and meet neighbors and friends with similar interests. Investigate the exciting new PLATO courses being offered this fall, many to be presented on the east side of Madison. Doctors Craig Davis and Bill Eisinger will give a brief sample lecture from their upcoming fall course “Great Ideas in Ecology”
PLATO is a participatory learning and teaching organization based in Madison and is associated with the University of Wisconsin (http://www.platomadison.org/). PLATO is a community of intellectually curious adults, typically 50 and over, which explores subjects of interest through member-led discussion groups, lectures, travel and cultural activities.
PLATO annual membership ($60) allows for unlimited participation in PLATO courses and social events. PLATO publishes a monthly newsletter, The Persimmon, and an annual cultural magazine, The Agora, that features works of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and visual arts submitted my PLATO members.
PLATO is a great way to discover new ideas in art, music, science, literature, philosophy and history while meeting new friends and exploring the many treasures of Wisconsin.
