Name Email Phone
Jack Mitchell 608-274-6903

Through lecture and discussion, the course will consider questions such as “Who creates the news?” and “What hath Zuckerman wrought?” and “Is a picture worth a thousand words?” We will discuss the difference between “facts” and “truth,” and ask if truth matters any more. Class members will monitor specific media and discuss their findings.

Students should bring to class laptops, i-pads, or cellphones in order to read e-mail messages and on-line media.
