We’ll start our hike at the O.J. University's Noer Turfgrass Research Center, 2502 County Hwy M (Pleasant View Road.)

The trail will lead us over hills and through woods and prairies, offering special views of Madison, Verona and the County.
Although on the outskirts of town, the Madison Segment of the Ice Age Trail retains a surprisingly remote feel as it passes unobtrusively through a scenic golf course (University Ridge) on the edge of residential areas..
