Join us Sunday, January 14 for our fifth play of the PLATO 2017-2018 nine-play Milwaukee theater trip series with Murder for Two performed in true cabaret fashion in the newly remodeled Stackner Cabaret.

A Musical Comedy to Die For

Co-written by Milwaukee High School of the Arts graduate Joe Kinosian, Murder for Two is the perfect blend of music, mayhem, and murder that has played to sold-out audiences all over the country! In this hilarious 90-minute show, two performers play 13 roles – not to mention the piano – in a witty and winking homage to old-fashioned murder mysteries. Called “ingenious” by The New York Timesthis fast-paced whodunit is a highly theatrical duet loaded with killer laughs.

“Impressive! One has to be swept away by the zany delirium of it all.” — LA Times

“Those who are able to witness such a fun evening of theatre should treat themselves to this opportunity.” — Broadway World

Approximate Run Time: One hour and 30 minutes with no intermission (2:00 PM - 3:30 PM)

Learn more by visiting the Milwaukee Rep's Murder for Two webpage regarding the artists, video interview clips with the playwright, director and cast, as well as, rehearsals, and all the latest news as opening day (November 10) draws near.

Murder for Two will be staged in the intimate Stackner Cabaret. For information including photos about this unique theater venue, click here.

The Stackner Cabaret is handicapped accessible to the main level tables and chairs. Most of our seating will be on staggered tables and chairs set on platform deck flooring that are an easy, shallow step-down/step-up between levels of tables and chairs. The backs of the chairs provide good step-down/step-up support.
