Guillermo Gonzalez Camarena (February 17, 1917 – April 18, 1965) was an electrical engineer at the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico of Mexico who filed a patent in 1940 for a "chromoscopic adapter" for television equipment that allowed black-and-white television to upgrade to color television in the 1960's.
