WINTER COURSES
NEXT WEEK!
 Most Winter Courses begin the week of January 8. There are still openings in some classes – find the Winter 2024 Course Schedule on the Courses webpage. Simply contact the course coordinator to register for any course you are interested in attending.

SPRING COURSES
MARK YOUR CALENDAR! Registration for Spring Courses will open on Tuesday, January 23. Most Spring Courses will begin the week of February 19.

BREAKFAST GATHERING
NEXT WEEK!
 Second Friday Breakfast – enjoy coffee, breakfast snacks, and conversation on Friday, January 12 from 9:30 – 11:30am at Lakeside St. Coffee House. Seating is on both the main floor and downstairs levels. You will need to climb a flight of steps in order to be seated on the downstairs level. Bring a friend – guests are welcome! Learn more and RSVP here.

COFFEE GATHERING
Fourth Friday Coffee resumes on January 26 from 9:30 – 11:30am at the Rotunda Café. They may or may not have food so we are temporarily calling it a "coffee" instead of a "breakfast". Learn more and RSVP here.

Sheila Crump Johnson (Born on January 25, 1949) is the first African-American woman to become a billionaire. In addition to co-founding Black Entertainment Television (BET) and serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Salamander Hotels and Resorts, Johnson is also the first African-American woman to be an owner or partner in three professional sports franchises: the Washington Capitals (NHL), the Washington Wizards (NBA), and the Washington Mystics (WNBA).
