DID YOU KNOW? for November 12 – 25, 2024 

Dr. Isabella Abbott (June 20, 1919 –  October 28, 2010) was a Hawaiian phycologist, educator, and ethnobotanist. As the first Native Hawaiian woman to receive a PhD in science, Abbott went on to discover more than 200 new species of algae and authored over 150 publications.
