The course will provide an overview of the long, varied, and complex evolution and struggles of civil rights efforts for the last 60 years. We will explore the breadth of issues that have been addressed during this period, as well as the challenges and backlash that is an ongoing part of this process. Links to recommended reading will be emailed to participants each week. Classes will include video presentations, guided discussions, and active participation by the members. Download the Syllabus.
