Madison Youth Arts Center (MYArts) Tour
Wednesday, August 7 from 2:00-3:15
Free to PLATO members and guests.
Registration is required.
Continuing our exploration of arts venues in Madison, we will have a one-hour tour of the MYArts building located in Madison's near-east side. Completed in 2021 the $29 million dollar, four-story building is home for Madison Youth Choirs, the Children’s Theater of Madison, and over 25 other arts and community groups.
MyArts has over a dozen rehearsal studios, a 300-seat theater, a smaller 120-seat black box theater, a costume and set production shop and a large outdoor patio.
Transportation Options:
Bus - MYArts is on Madison Metro's Route A and Route B which run every 15 minutes; exit at the Ingersoll/E. Washington stop.
Bicycle - Bike racks are available.
Car - Visitors can park on the adjacent streets (watch the signs so you don't get a ticket) or in the attached parking garage ($2 per hour) with an entrance on N. Ingersoll street (between E. Washington and E. Mifflin streets). Do not park in the Lapham School parking lot.
