Join us for this merry, sparkling, tuneful, boisterous Broadway musical version of Dickens' beloved Christmas Carol. Based on the movie musical starring Alfred Finney, this timeless tale of redemption and love features a rousing score, breathtaking dancing and beautiful period costumes. Celebrate the season with your PLATO friends with a luncheon followed by this entertaining performance.
Our group lunch begins at 11:15 am with Tomato Bisque, followed by your choice of:
- Supreme Cut Chicken Breast,
- Sliced Roast Beef Tenderloin,
- Grilled Atlantic Salmon or
- Vegetarian Medley
- A vegan lunch is also available.
Served with Black Forest Cake for dessert and coffee, tea, or milk.
Tickets: The price of the trip includes luncheon, transportation, all gratuities and theater performance.
Shopping: The theater contains many gift shops but there will be only a brief time after lunch for you to peruse them.
Accessibility Policy: On the Lamers' Bus Line, you must be able to climb steps to board and exit the bus. If you need assistance, we require that you bring a friend to give you a hand.
Please note that the cost of lunch and all gratuities are included in the cost of the ticket.
Itinerary
Bear in mind that our boarding bus route is like Madison Metro or any other municipal bus service. Please arrive early at your boarding stop so you don’t miss the bus. When everyone is aboard and seated, we leave.
Don’t be late. We can wait just 5 minutes at any one location.

9 AM Westside: Bus arrives for boarding at Oakwood University Woods,
6205 Mineral Point Road
9:10 AM Bus departs from Oakwood University Woods
9:35 AM Central: Bus departs from Capitol Lakes, 333 W. Main St.
10 AM Eastside: Bus departs from East Towne Mall, Sears parking lot (park lamppost 10).

Non-Member Policy: Members must register their guests. Each PLATO member is entitled to bring one non-member guest per bus trip. Members may bring more than one guest near the registration deadline date if seats are available. Check with trip organizer. Non-member guests pay an additional $10 registration fee.
PLATO Membership: PLATO membership is $60.00/year and all memberships renew on August 1.
