Improving Brain Health
Current research indicates that lifestyle choices have significant impact on long term brain health. Paul Rusk, Director of the Alzheimer's & Dementia Alliance, will show how the brain works, provide tips on improving your brain health and how to lower your risk of developing dementia. The presentation will feature information about current research, scientifically-rooted nutritional and lifestyle advice as well as fun brain teasers and take home materials.
Alzheimer's & Dementia Alliance
Paul Rusk has been the Director of the Alzheimer's & Dementia Alliance since Nov. 1998.Under his leadership the organization has increased both its staff and budget plus added 7 regional county offices. The Alliance continues to bring innovative programming to assist persons with dementia and their family care partners and provides public policy advocacy for the entire state. Paul also serves on the Dane County Board of Supervisors representing the 12th district on Madison's Northside.
